Would you like to start your adventure with alternative coffee preparation methods, but don't know what to choose? The Hario V-60 Dripper is just for you! This Japanese gadget allows you to get the best out of your coffee in a simple and effective way. The overflow method is great fun and an opportunity to experiment with coffee. Surprise your friends with the rich taste and aroma of coffee and the technique of its preparation!

The Hario V60-02 allows you to prepare 300-500 ml of coffee at a time, which is enough for several servings. The plastic version is the cheapest option among the V-60 drippers. However, in terms of taste, it is no worse than the other versions. In addition, the plastic design ensures durability and convenience if you want to use the Hario V-60 on the go. The conical shape and special grooves on the inside of the dripper ensure perfect water flow.

To prepare delicious coffee, we need freshly ground, high-quality coffee, a filter, your favorite mug or server, and a scale. The filter is placed in the dripper, which we put on the container from which we will serve the coffee. The preparation of the pickle takes only 3-4 minutes. Detailed instructions and tips for brewing coffee with a dripper can be found on our Youtube.

The advantage of this method is also extremely easy maintenance. After use, simply remove the filter and wash the dripper under running water or in the dishwasher.

Hario translates to "King of Glass", which perfectly reflects the company's assets. The brand was founded in 1921 and has been creating products of the highest quality from glass, ceramics and metal ever since.
  1. Pour about 30g of ground drip coffee into a paper filter (1:15 ratio of ground coffee to the weight of water)
  2. Pour hot water over the filter
  3. Pour in 91°C-93°C water, (experiment with the water temperature)

When preparing the drip, it is necessary to pour enough hot water over the paper filter to minimize the unwanted taste of the filter paper. Pour 50 ml of water over the coffee and let the coffee brew for 30 seconds. After the pre-infusion, pour the coffee in a circular motion from the periphery of the filter to the center in a counter-clockwise direction. The total extraction time is 3 min.
